Andrew Fong leaves Balyasny

Andrew Fong, President of Balyasny Asset Management’s Asian business, has left the firm’s Hong Kong office after two years. Andrew has spent the bulk of his career at Citadel in Asia. During his 15-year tenure at Citadel, Andrew held a number of senior leadership roles including serving as the Chief Administrative Officer for over 10 years, responsible for the overall management oversight for the region, and as the General Counsel responsible for the legal, compliance and regulatory affairs functions for Asia Pacific. Prior to Citadel, he worked at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Freshfields. He was educated at Rugby School and King’s College London.
